Fabrique by Fashion
« on: July 28, 2007, 16:21:22 PM »
I have just ordered a copy on CD (finally found it!) of the mega album by that group that were nearly huge called Fashion - the album was called Fabrique.  It's been re-released under the title The Height of Fashion.  The album was awesome - every track was great with highlights like Slow Blue, Streetplayer, White Stuff.  Just brilliant! If you liked Level 42, Kajagoogoo, Human League etc and you've never heard it there's a good chance that you will like it.  If you go the Amazon site you can hear samples of each track.

I just re-read my previous post and it sounds like I'm on commission or something! I finally got it through the post yesterday and I now know why I played it to death. I think anyone who liked the synth-rich sounds of groups like Swing Out Sister, Thomas Dolby, Human League would probably love the album. Absolute classic.

I remember Fashion. I saw them a couple of times. They were from Birmingham. Fabrique was a great album. I lost my copy after lending it to someone who didn't return it.  :-[
