That in all "Best ever..." games lists - anything that loaded from a tape or disk is generally ignored...? I've never understood it.  :idiot2:

Hmm, good question, i think maybe peoples recolection of those games was more focused on the bad points rather than the good eg, long loading times, 80% probability of it crashing and not enough "good" memories of game play. This could deter companies from re releasing it in any form due to the negitive spin that might be remembered. I personaly loved the edge of your seat excitment, waiting, waiting, waiting then, BINGO lets play lode runner O0

I think all the old games have been re-invented can you really see F1 that you loaded onto your comadore 64 work on the Wii

actually, the wii has a commodore  64 emulator on it you can download  O0  8)

but my point is more that the games themselves never make top 100 lists - whereas similarly aged games that were on the NES etc do...
