80's Mania Tribute Concert Show
« on: April 18, 2009, 12:03:10 PM »
A must see for 80's Fans!!
This show is like being in the audience of Top of the POPs and Live Aid.

Over 35 hits are performed in true authentic tribute style by a 14 strong cast. The performers are pop not musical theatre and do the original artistes justice by really trying to sound like them and re create them visually. There are only 4 singers but  between them with alot of quick changes and pure magic they really pull off the closest you can get to seeing the real deal. You will see:
Kim Wilde, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Tony Hadley( Spandau Ballet),Marc Almond ( soft cell), Aha, Cyndi Lauper, Adam Ant, Gary Numan, the Human League, Thompson Twins, Toni Basil ( Hey Mickey), Nena (99 Red Balloons), George Michael, Madonna, Dead or Alive ( You Spin Me Round),Simon Le Bon ( Duran Duran), Boy George, Erasure,Bananarama,......plus more!!
The costumes are so 80's....originals, not glitzy theatre replica's, the dancers are so" legs n co "and do the typical 80's moves! The band rock and there's even breakdancin and roller skating!!
Look at the website     www.80smaniashow.com     All tour dates are on there and ticket information plus a short video and some show pics.
80's Mania is so ACE....it s what we ve all been waiting for!
If you ve seen it give us your feedback....if you haven't, check out a theatre near you and go. It's also 80's fancydress!!   Takes you back to your youth and you forget your age for 2 hours!  Totally brilliant.

Thought I'd bring this back as Eastbourne is preparing itself for the arrival of two PECers in September!   ;D

The question is, do I dress as I normally do when I go out 80's clubbing, or do I go for a different look?   Was thinking illuminous gear, but is that a bit "now" seeing as there is so much in the shops??
