Problem with Windows
« on: August 07, 2009, 15:16:15 PM »
I'm a bit worried as yesterday I didn't receive a single software update from Microsoft on any of my 4 computers running windows XP.

I was wondering if I should contact Microsoft and ask if they had forgotten to send the daily update out yesterday.

I hope that my windows isn't broken and maybe it won't receive any more updates or even  worse, maybe Microsoft have finally finished debugging XP !!!

Can anybody advise please?

I might just reboot my computer and pretend it has had an update anyway  ;)

I rang Microsoft about this, they said "Our apologies for this service failure yesterday. We have a devoted team focussed on identifying core issues with Windows XP. Unfortunately, he was off sick yesterday with an icky belly".

Thanks for the reassurance, I guess they'll need to monitor that VD  ;)
