new tv series 'Electric Dreams'

not quite sure where to put this but there's a brilliant new series on BBC4 where a family live a month in their house where each day it changes to represent a year from 1970 to 1999

just watched the 1970's episode on iplayer and the attention to detail is quite fantastic! a real nostalgia trip!  O0

really hammers home just how dependant we have become on electronic goods tho... :-\

well worth checking out, says i!  O0

Just watched it!   Brilliant.  Seems like the Mum enjoyed it the most living 1970's style  ;D despite her being permanently in the kitchen!

I know my parents had a Tea's Made, but they stopped using it as the noise when it switched itself on used to wake me and my brother up in the room next door and we would both come in and jump on Mum and Dad.

Sounds a great show!! When you think about it you don't need all that much in life!! Just look how simply people used to live in the old days!!I was 4 in 1970 and I can remember  b/w TV and flying to Oz!!1972 was the happiest year of my life!!

A great concept for a show, but I would have liked to have seen maybe a street done with entire families living in different decades to see what sort of avarice would come from the kids who had Monopoly vs Playstation!!
Don't read this, read my review for Lesbian Vampire Killers!!

that wouldn't work cos all the kids from the 70s and 80s would just be round the 90s kids houses all the time!  ::)

The joys of Betamax videos versus VHS.  Now what idiot family had a Betamax                            :-[ ::)

However, the scariest moment was seeing a leather trouser clad Cliff Richard roller skating through Milton Keynes shopping Centre!!!    :o
