Shame on both counts.

I thought Patrick Swayze made a few good films but I thought his TV drama North & South was probably the best thing he was in.

As for Keith Floyd, major loss. He was one of the first TV chefs to add a bit of humour into what he was doing and as Shy said, he liked his sauce!

Agreed with everything above about Floyd. He was awesome..they still show repeats of his show here. At least it seemed as if he enjoyed life.

O0 Not many people remember this series, but I first "fell in crush" (at the grand old age of 9) with Mr Swayze when he starred in this.

I re-watched the first season last year and still enjoyed it, the second one was a bit rubbish though!

Edward Woodward  :'(

Veteran actor Edward Woodward has died aged 79, his agent has confirmed.

The Croydon-born star had been suffering from various illnesses, including pneumonia, and died in hospital, said Janet Glass.

Woodward is most famous for his roles in the cult 1973 horror film The Wicker Man, alongside Christopher Lee, and US TV series The Equalizer.

Ms Glass said he had been ill for several months and passed away surrounded by members of his family.

The actor, who lived in Hawker's Cove near Padstow, died at the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro.

I loved his son Peter in the series Crusade.  Edward appeared in an episode.
