Ladies and Gentleman......I don't know what's more rubbish..to read all these...or to listen to a song...that will go over after a few minutes (*hiding......and covering head and ears.... :o)

While it was released in 79 I think it counts as it was during the 80's that it was being constantly shoved down my throat ... and as with items which trigger your gag reflex I never found it a pleasant experience:

My Sharona by The Knack.

Without doubt the most irritating song I have ever had to endure ... and to my regret STILL being played incessantly despite the fact that it's lyrics were so bad that I am firmly convinced that one could make the song sound better by replacing the vocals with the death rattle of a man dying of terminal diarrhoea.

I could go on about how deeply I loathe that single piece of 'music' ... but I'll spare one and all! :D
