Usually you can right-click on a picture on a website, click on properties, copy the address at the bottom referring to the picture, then click on the "insert image" button above the window where you type your reply and paste the address in the middle of the square brackets (Hope this makes sense!)

I think what most people use is a "host" - this one is free:

Sign up here, then upload your pics to the site and copy the link for the file.
to make it into a pic - you need to click on hte "insert image" icon (5th one in from the left) - hope that helps ;D
