The way I heard it, the Eavises refused to ask them to play because they thought The Darkness would be has-beens by the time that Glasto came around, then suddenly thought "oh 'eck" when they got mega and begged them to play (including offering loads of cash).

Good on The Darkness for turning them down, I say.

 :oThere is a new group called Benni Benassi, they sound alot like Kraftwork, their music sampling sounds alot like Kraft, alot of digital voice sampling and electronic synths.  I bought this BB cd and thought wow! Sounds like Kraftwork.   Check it out people.
