Not actually dieting as such more just laid off the free burgers and breakfasts etc that are a perk of the job.

Our Cousin Jimmy ..formerly of Everton and Newcastle United (among others) called his autobiography Who Ate All The Pies..didnt stop him scoring five goals in a game though.. these schmancy footballers complain about having to play twice a week nowadays on a "healthy" diet whereas the likes of Jimmy's generation played 3 times a week and ate stodge .. PMSL   :)
