Nope, I've noticed it too.  Loads of young fellas here with receding hairlines. I wonder if that's why the current shaved head trend is in?

Blokes your age Mid 30's yes a slight withdrawal of the hair line is acceptable

But Sorry to say this LV 19 - 22 year old are going Bald

I'm rolling on 39, yes I have a bit of thinning going on but still have a good Hair line

At work it's quite funny like I said I'm in my late 30's ans the other older Tech is in his mid 50's yes a lot of gery hair  ;D  but both still full hair lines

The two others are early 20's and they are in a race to see whos fringe can get to the back of their neck first  :2funny:

I can't say I have noticed this, maybe it's a regional phenomenon.

In the 80s I spent lots of time in Yorkshire. What is true is that Yorkshire has vastly more prematurely-bald men than anywhere in the south of England.

I put this down to a higher prevalence of blond men (Viking colonisation?) although perhaps it was just down to the flat caps chaffing.  ;D

Yep, I meant when I was 21, there were blokes of my age going bald, and I See lad in their 20s going the same way, wee a my old man is 61 and virtual full head of hair, just isn't fair. I heard something about the chemicals from the female contraceptive pill being in the water supply, don't know if there's any truth in that. If it was true surely it would effect every guy.

Maybe you drank more water than most.

As my dad was bald and all his brothers were bald, my mum's dad was bald from his 20s and my dad's dad was thinning when he died (aged 41); I think I'm doing pretty bloody well to hang onto 90% of my hair at my advanced age.

When it gets to 25% gone its time for those #2 setting clippers.

Thing is all my male relatives have a full head of hair, I'm the only one who doesn't, I'm on 0 setting on the clippers.

Yes we'd all be going bald if that was that case

More like the hair products that are being used just clash with the male hormones ?

I started losing hair thickness, rather than receding when I was in my 20s, but it seems to have stayed at that level and not really got worse.

I put it down to 8 years of black hair dye.  ::)

As an aside, I've read that if men reach 65 with a full head of hair it usually means they've got an excess female chromosone and are XXY rather than XY.  Ronald Reagan was an example of this, apparently.

Mu mum used to say that about the products, but I've been usuing various tonnes of the stuff for years (including various bad 80s perms  ;D) and I've still got more hair than is necessary (on my head that is - lol!  >:D).  I still get lines of new growth as well.  That's why I straighten it, else it goes 'bushy'  :(

Maybe it's a man thing?  My dad started losing his hair when he was 22.  I can remember him having an embarrassing 'comb over' and spraying it flat with Cossack Hairspray.  It used to lift in the wind!  ;D

I don't dye my hair now, you West Midlands wally!  ;D

I did from the age of 18 to 26 to fit in with my 'everything black' Goth look.

I used Boots Sure N'Simple.  It left lovely purple streaks down your face if you weren't careful.  :cheesy:

Although slightly receding my dad's almost 60 and has a good head of hair even though his dad & brother lost theirs at an early age, he's adamant it's because he used to get my mum to give him a 5 minute massage to his bonce a couple of times a week.

So get those scalps stimulated boys!   :D

My husband started losing his hair just after we married (no, its nothing to do with me!).  I don't mind the shaved head look - can be quite sexy.

A man I used to work with was going a bit thin on top so he had a weave - it looked absolutely ridiculous cos everytimt he put his head down you could see the join :2funny:

::)  My hair started to recede early ni life too. . . . . . . . around 21-ish> i used to put loads of peroxide and dyes through it, and had the 80's Spikey  streaky look" going on, so maybe that all had something to do with it.  Have noticed that more young folk do seem to be getting thin on top though.  Wish I still had mine sob  :'(    ah well,,,,,,,#2 it is then ???

My old boy had a full head up hair right up until the day he croaked it. Hopefully I've inherited my hair genes from him cos my old doll is as bald as a coot.  ^-^

No not just you, my town is terrible for that

I have a traffic light just around the corner from me
lets two cars out, a few time I have sat there and the traffic is still rolling infront of me, when I have the green light ??

Exactly. Also, the other night in Dover, I was waiting at some red traffic lights behind a car which was first in the line, when that car just pulled away even though the lights were still on red, and they hadn't even showed any signs of changing.

All the Washing Powered Companies Are going For the Lower Temperatures For Doing the Washing
this to Be More Environment Friendly As it uses less Electric to heat to temperature

But you have to Add A Stain removal product to remove the Staines that used to be Boiled out !!
And
A Product that Can Kills Germs, that I Can only Guess were Boiled to death Before

So in the Process of Being More Eco Friendly you now Put More Chemicals in you Waste water that has to Be Processed out before that waste water Can Be returned either back to the Natural water Courses or back into circulation

Have you noticed..............that if aliens came to earth 20 years ago and did studies on the youth of the human race,  the picture would have been much,  much different.
Back then,  they would have seen kids kicking around a football,  running, playing hide and seek in the park and generally being a normal person.

If the aliens came back today and did the same studies ,  they would notice that there is a huge virus taking over our youth.  I call it,  the " zombie " virus.  Nowdays, kids are walking at one quarter pace,  their heads are down, they are not paying attention to what their surroundings are,  and it really seems like a zombie movie.  TEXT,TEXT, TEXT.....no more conversation!!!

I say to the aliens......we are living in the  " i " generation.       i phone, i pad, i tunes, i no real friends( facebook ), i no communication, i say " what ",  when someone real actually asks you a question :2funny:

i love technology,    but i can see a downhill slope in interaction between modern day humans in the not too distant future.........

her Manners and genral Persona Was dive Bombing
OK for about a week she Was a Grumpy teenager (But Whats New)
She Was Given An old Nokia Call And Text only And Now She's Not Dashing off to the loo as often
But She has Admitted that it is Far better, She has Noticed how Most of the other kids in School Are always on their Phones During Breaks (And even During Class) she's even Started A gang At School 'Retro Phoners' And the School is Backing the idea As they know they Can't Beat the Phones at School
