mm that was a tough choice really...i love Marrs as its a great dance track...but then there are some good songs in there as well.

i have voted for Madonna ~ La Isla Bonita...cos i like it better than some of the others and its a good song to sing to without the cheesiness of Whitney's Dance With Somebody

Chose Madonna but would have gone for Pet Shop Boys by miles if they'd been on the list. For me, 1987 marked the winding down of the best era in pop music, with the demise of the new wave/new romantic influences  :( and the (undeserved) success of the Stock, Aitken and Waterman style of music (manufactured to a formula) plus the rise of House and Rap (which is often good in its own right but not what I lurve to listen to). On the other hand, I might just have been starting to feel older!  ;D
