Yes once again the North of England makes a contribution whereas the midlands continue to display a lack of class and makes no valuable contribution O0

Maybe If there's troll championship the midlands can step up.

Sorry I won't support a Scotsman, the same as I won't support a Frenchman or a German, I'm English and support English sportsmen. Does it make me a troll because I express a honest opinion, rather than lying and saying what a great guy Murrey is.

Nowt wrong with the Midlands, we support our own, not  people from accross the border.

Depends on your definition of a Troll - you were being deliberately (and unsubtly) provocative - as with many of your comments you are also inconsistent - sorry but as you said we should all express an honest opinion O0

As Pinny points out how are you squaring off your support of a Scottish manager @ aston villa? not to mention the numerous Irish, Scottish, Welsh, et al players in the squad.

You can't have it both ways - on a previous thread you purported to be pro-Europe shouldn't you be embracing all of our European nationalities with open arms?

Fair comment Shy, I have no problem with a Scotsman, Irishman, Frenchman or a Martian running Villa if they are the best man for the job, the same goes for the playing staff, I haven't even got a problem with a non English England manager (as long as it's 11 Englishmen on the pitch), but in when it comes to individual sports I want an Englishman to win everytime, such as Bradley Wiggens in the Tour de France and Jenson Button/Lewis Hamilton in Formula One.

Yes I am a pro European, but that doesn't mean I want Germany to win the World Cup, France to win The European Championships or Andy Murrey to win Wimbledon.
