My work colleague says her bf turned the race off 30 seconds from the end, disgusted that Hamilton was 'going to miss out again'   :2funny:

I see the swiss resident with the scottish sounding name is World Champion. Strange Viscount how you critised both David Bowie and Phil Collins for moving to Switzerland once they'd got a few quid, when Hamilton has done the same, you're strangely silent on the matter.

Gordon Brown's at it again, first with the Olympians, bathing in their reflected glory, now he's doing it with Hamilton, god help us if England ever win the World Cup, I don't think I could take the sight of a jock celebrating that.

Agreed - but he needs to attach himself to all the available good news there is.

I doubt there's much to worry about concerning the last point because, either (a) it's highly unlikely that England will win the World Cup again or (b) old GB will no longer be PM (but may be doing the gravy trail) by the time an England team gets its act together and look slike a possible contender O0

Whatever are you on about, LV  ::)

I've never criticised David Bowie for living in Switzerland and I've criticized Phlid Collins because he's an MOR tedious Tory git, not because he's a tax evader.

LOL @ his "Scottish name".  Anthony Hamilton looks soooo Scottish doesn't he?  :uglystupid2:

His dad is from Antigua. The Hamilton was either an invented surname or the name of some slave owner in the distant past.

Lewis was born and brought up in Stevenage. You dolt.
