Eighties or the Noughties
« on: March 06, 2009, 11:58:47 AM »
After watching so many programmes set in the 80s and the good memmories I have of the decade, compaired to all the negative memories (my children being born apart) and general dirf of quality music, comedies and drama of the 2000s, It got me thinking wouldn't it be great to live the the 80s as an adult.

A life without the (c)rap music of today, wouldn't that be great... Instead of yelling at the kids "turn that crap music down", smile at every song that they play.

You have to remember that the charts of 25 years ago was based on record shop sales and a single had to sell week in and week out to climb the charts

now it's on downloads and a single can be hot on the downloads and can be in the top 10 this week and out of the top 40 next week
