Title: Walker's new flavours
Post by: obsdoc on February 16, 2009, 19:10:20 PM
So kids which would you choose?

I bought today two packs of each flavour - they seem to only come in six packs ATM  ::)

So far have tried a bag of the Fish n Chip flavour, which are similar to Scampi n Lemon flavour Nik Naks, only less lemony.  Not too bad.

Anyone else tried any of the flavours yet?

The Builders Breakfast smells like Smokey Bacon initially.

However, it tastes bacony, eggy and a tad sausagey!

 O0

not bad at all, although I guess it is rather similar to Smokey Bacon flavour in the end

The builders' breakfast seem to taste of egg and toast to me. Theres a hint of bacon and tomato. Not bad, but Fish & Chips edges it.

The chilli and chocolate ones are disgusting!

I haven't tried any of them yet, but, looking at the flavours available, I'd go for the duck or the builders brekkie

The whole Tot family did a tasting last week - I hated them all (and the crisps ::) ).

The Onion Bhaji was almost OK but the Tot concensus was that we would stick to Cheese and Onion and Smokey Bacon O0

Doesn't that largely depend on what flavour the pizza is?  :D

Any flavour would be better than what is on that list, though you can't beat a Cheese & Tomato.

NO!   you will send them to ME!   :knuppel2:

It does seem the new flavours are not the big hit they were meant to be.

Still prefer the good old cheese & onion and roast chicken flavours myself.   O0

Mr WB bought a packet of each flavour t'other day.

We have so far tried:

Fish & Chips - smelt a little like said food on first whiff of opening packet but tasted like a poor mans salt & vinegar crisp.

Builders Breakfast - didn't smell anything like a fry-up, first crisp that went in me gob did taste a little like egg but once I started munching it didn't really have much of a taste whatsoever.

Cajun Squirrel - Bit too hot for my liking, and havign never tried anything "cajun" or squirrel for that matter I can't comment on them!

*makes note to hide the remaining packets before tomorrow  ;)  ;D
