ping pong would've been a comical picture if it was'nt for the fact that its ACTUALLY in the olympics....how sads this.

It's table tennis - not ping pong I'll have you know.

I was the best in our county at ping po...erm...table tennis back in primary school.

I got a gold cup with my name on it and everything.

Looking back i think - what a waste of time!!!

There has been talk of snooker getting olympic status - a better choice than some other suggestions.

If we get the 2012 Olympics (which obviously we wont because everyone hates us and we're not as good at bribing IOC members as some are) I suggest we guarantee ourselves more than just a few golds by introducing the following sports:

Darts
Conkers
Shove happeny
British Bulldog
Hopskotch
Criket (OK maybe the Aussies might get this one)
french Cricket (but not this one!  ;D)
Whinging
Pass the Parcel
Skittles
Three-legged race
Egg and sthingy race
Dwarf Throwing
Pin the Tail On the Donkey
Coconut Shying
