For me as an Englishman he is as foreign as a Frenchman or an American, so I won't be cheering if he wins, it's the jocks bigging it up if he does win that I'm not looking forward to.

Actually LV, you are incorrect. According to the legal definition Jersey, as one of the Channel Islands, is part of the British Isles. It's far more difficult to define what being British means, than what being British is.
