Turns out Jackson was in fact helping the family quite a bit re: financially...
He paid off the hospital bill, bought a flat for the boys family and was regularly 'helping them out' with money.
It seems he (or his accountants) decided enough was enough and stopped the handouts which is alledgedly one of the reasons why the allegations surfaced.
This doesn't of course mean nothing occurred but certainly adds weight to the Jackson defence.
