I Think We're Alone Now (and Kylie's I Should Be So Lucky) were the first 12'' singles I ever bought. I bought them from a bargain bin at the same time. I wasn't sure what a 12'' record was exactly, or if my record player would be able to play them
- and pocket money was tight - so I was in and out of Woolworths every day, waiting for them to go down to 99p (or whatever it was).
Later on, I bought the 7'' Radio Romance. I only heard Could've Been once or twice at the time, but liked it.
I didn't like I Saw Him Standing There.
I lost track of her after that. Never bought a studio album, but I picked up her Best Of cd in recent yrs. I still haven't got to know all the songs. The 3 I liked all along, remain the 3 that I still like most.
I'm surprised that Could've Been hasn't been covered (to my knowledge). It could be a hit all over again.
