I'd like to second Joe Dolce.

Oh all right!! Seriously, I would say Mike Score.

When you look at some of the so called cool artists in the 80's, eg some heavy metal groups, they look quite ridiculous. Judas Priest or Iron Maiden for example look like farts. But also Adam And The Ants, Gary Numan and many others, who posed with cool attributes.

So if I have to answer the question with my "modern" eyes, I would say that almost none were cool. Swedish synthpoppers Twice A Man were though. Their website: http://www.twiceaman.com

If the question is reformulated as to which groups I then thought were cool, I have to say Kraftwerk...

I'd have to say A Flock Of Seagulls were cool, with those BIG hairdoo's, talking of big hairdoos, Howard Jones, Nick Kershaw, Limahl, Pete Burns & Phil Oakey to name a few. ;D

Well I always thought Billy Idol had cool clothes. Madonna was alright but I HATED her fans! With their fake accents . . . annoying. I liked U2, David Bowie, Boy George! Lol, he was a very pretty man. Pete Burns too. Have you seen him now?!
