Couldn't agree more.  When a side plays poorly or is outclassed then they deserve to lose but as you said earlier, you can't defeat the team you're playing if the Ref is on their side!!

Well, the ref who stiffed us in Paris has made a string of controversial (ok - two games!) decisions against Scotland. £ in a row is a tad perplexing. The poor standard of refereeing is surely worth of IRB comment I would argue.

I'm inclined to agree there, CB.

Scotland aren't quite such a poor team as their results suggest.

In fact, the gap between the old Five Nations teams isn't as great as it would seem IMO.

It's the best Welsh team for decades, but not without it's weaknesses.

We blew it in Paris big time. were utter gash against the Irish and made hard work of beating the Italians. We're getting better but are well off the standard of the other 4 home nations. Personally speaking, I hope the Welsh win it the Grand Slam.

I hope you all realise that Ireland losing to France yesterday was entirely the fault of the BBC ...

In the second half when playing on their more favoured channel BBC1 they had a chance. For the BBC to force them to play on BBC2 (they never play well there) for the first half was yet another example of the BBC pandering to our EU neighbours who obviously spotted this weakness in earlier coverage by the BBC.

I'm not bitter .... ::) ;D

What a match that was. The atmosphere was superb and I wore my Welsh shirt with pride.

The whole weekend was superb even if Mrs FBG nearly didn't make it up there as she had a major sore throat on Friday and Saturday morning.

Next time will be to Lansdowne Road methinks. Fancy the Craic.
