Well London-based Brits already get charged OTT prices for everything, so I'd say 'welcome to the club' on that one!  ;D

I might walk a quarter of a mile to see the tennis (assuming I still live here in 2012) but East London's a crap place to get to at the best of times, so I'd probably watch the athletics on telly. Maybe if they finally sort out Crossrail, I might go see a bit....

However, fear not you provincial bumpkin types ( ;)) the football is all around the country; the sailing's in Weymouth and the swimming is at Swansea  ???

There will probably be some soccer at Villa Park,so that'll be good.Apart from the fact we won't be in it.

Does anyone know where the Hockey will be held?  I was assuming that it would be at the national stadia in Milton Keynes but can't find any reference to it....

And anyway, us bumpkins are looking forward to the synchronised ploughing, welly wanging, ferret racing and hedge jumping :crazy2:
