Anyone remember the Look In magazine and the comic strips of television series's, and the way it was either Howard Jones or Nik Kershaw posters and interviews in there.

That takes you back. And 'The Fall Guy' too - Great stuff.

I remember when they jazzed up the 'Look In' logo during the 80s as well, and introduced the 'Supergran' cartoon strip (I was never a fan of the actual programme) alongside the 'Dangermouse' comic strip.
A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.

Look In was like Magpie wasn't it? Very ITVish.

I'll be accused of being snobby now I spose but it never appealed to me much.

Bev, I went Twinkle, Bunty, Jackie, Smash Hits, NME.

Cleo you are such a snob  :P  :cheesy:

I had Bunty too!  I used to love the litle cut-out dolly and the cut-out outfits and nearly alwys used to cut off the tags that were needed to fix them on  :(

The magazines of my youth were Twinkle, Mandy, Look In, SmashHits, Mizz

My daughter buys Smash Hits or Top of The Pops mags now and they are both over £2.  20p wouldn't even buy her a Green Day poster! :'(
I would go out tonight but I haven't got a stitch to wear ...

Green Day poster - my son bought one for 3.99 while we were away...

I vaguely remember buying Disco 45 to sing along with chart choons. Did anyone else?

Yeah thats right, ITV had the better shows at the time, though I did like Dr Who, Peter Davidson in his cricket whites did a good job.
