Harvey Moon
« on: June 26, 2006, 14:47:33 PM »
Used to love watching this programme during the 80s and it was so topical at times, mentioning the war, rationing, the murderer Neville Heath, the great freeze og 1947, the Berlin air lift, etc, they broadcast some repeats recently and the programme is still excellent. They bought back the show in the mid 90s, but it wasn't the vsame.

I thought it was OK at the time.  Watching some things now you realise that certain progs haven't improved with time

I suppose when you watch the rubbish on TV nowadays, you get nostalgic and think that things you haven't seen in years were good, you just forget how bad they were.

Harvey Moon is available on DVD now but sadly not in its entirety due to certain copyright restrictions.

Thanks Obsy, I've got the series from 1984, the third series.
