Probably Ray Of Light but I have a campy liking for Vogue and Material Girl.

I admire her image changes and some of her music is okay but I've never been a huge fan. I was going to say I liked her early image because she was different from everything/everyone else that was happening at the time. But then I remembered Cindy Lauper who I feel made some great music, had a similarish image and got passed over because of Madonna to a certain extent.

I've just reread that and I know what I mean but not sure anyone else will lol.

Her worst image IMHO was the road cone bra, short hair, shoulders like a navvy look which must've appealed to lesbians but not really anyone else.

I saw an interview with Cyndi Lauper and she said she was dressing differently a year before she became famous...and then next year everyone was...probably due to her and Madonna's influence tho I think Madonna is the one who gets all the credit for that! I know that I myself have been influenced fashion-wise by Madonna mainly. (I luv Cyndi's big skirts tho!)

phase - musically, Ray Of Light, which is far superior to anything else she's done, especially this turgid disco, jump on the gay dancefloor filler Scissor Sister malarky that's currently taken hold...IMHO of course  :2funny:

she was quite foxy in her cowboy phase - bucking sexy actually  :coolsmiley:

True...I loved her in the Like a Virgin phase.....I wanted to look like her for a time....still think she has great bone structure and looks well for her age  :)

She went a little side ways during the 90's

But over 3 decades she has modified her image so many times some bad moves some good ones

But for me it's her voice  ;)  she has a nice set of lungs on her  O0
