Does anyone remember the Hits album series from the 80s, they were an alternative to the Now albums. Hits % had a picture of a couple og dice on 5.

i've got 1-4 on vinyl and 5-9 on cassette can't remember if i gave up buying them or if they stopped releasing them first.

i've got 1-4 on vinyl and 6-9 on cassette can't remember if i gave up buying them or if they stopped releasing them first.

I think they went under a different name, Hits 8 was the last recognisable one with the black cover, Hits 9 was a big yellow suit case on the front, they've started being called Hits albums again.

hits 5 gave my my first real intro to frankie. it was released in 1986 and had rage hard on it which i loved- didn't discover the rest of their stuff until holly's solo stuff in 1989

Hits 5 ! I had it on cassette. Having to stop and fast-forward past the tracks that I didn't like.
It was a gift and the only Hits compilation I've ever owned. It's long gone now though.
