I remember some uproar in 1984 over that song, don't know what was wrong with it.

Never knew that Viscount, actually Lauper is quite a nice little word.

Well I see them everynight in tight blue jeans
In the pages of a blue boy magazine
Hey I've been thinking of a new sensation
I'm picking up - good vibration -
Oop - she bop

Now do you get it?!!  ;)

I got introduced to her by "Time After Time," of course.

Later on, I had a CD compilation which had "Girls Wanna Have Fun. " In my opinion, her voice is a lot less painful than most high-pitched singers that I have heard.  Although, of course, don't play it too loud, haha.  :cheesy:

Female onanism (see, I managed to avoid the m word). Sure sounds more politically correct now  :2funny:  :2funny:
Matisse, a very talented pop / alternative Greek Band (who scored a major hit in Hellas with "She Smiles"), covered "She bop" on their last album. Maybe you wanna check it out
