The problem with Rugby Union - as Shy - has said, is the complicated and vague nature of the rules. This makes for loads of stops. No-one finds watching them set-up a scrum four times in a row interesting.
With more men on the pitch, it can be a more defensive game too.
However, when you see a great passing move - like the Italian try today, there is IMO no substitute.
