No doubt that these sad annoying little 20 minute talent show wannabes will try to convince us how 'inspired' they were by the 'original' piece, that they felt compelled to give it a modern makeover for the 21st century.

Whats wrong with musicians, can't they write a decent song without having to destroy a classic tune.

You know, I don't have a problem with cover versions or samples, but I do find it offensive that they couldn't veen be inventive enough to add anything to the song other than the new lyrics. I don't feel cheated, I feel the artists are cheating themselves by creating something that they won't be able to top because they barely created it themselves.

Interestly enough, I have persevered with this song to try and 'get' it, and so I found the actual filmclip on Youtube, and found the singer to be extraordinarily cute, and while the sample is still frightfully ridiculous, I REALLY like the lyrics of the song!!

I don't mind her voice either... it sounds like an Australian band called Operator PLease

Will it end up on my iPhone?.... I doubt it.
