Comedy Nostalgia Book
« on: October 17, 2008, 12:08:15 PM »
Hi all,

I'm the co-author of “The Crap Old Days”, a new comedy nostalgia book.  As you can probably guess from the name, it takes a different angle on nostalgia - recalling what was rubbish about the past (Izal toilet paper for instance!). . .  but trying to do it in a light hearted and still nostalgic way.

It's mostly stuff drawn from the 80s (and 70s) and I'd be really interested to see what you folks make of it.  I've got a web site with some sample entries on it, if people would like to see (if I'm allowed to post a link to that?. . .  no worries if not!).

Thanks for reading  :)

Hi Wham Bam,

Thanks for the interest  :)

The web site for the book is at:

www.thecrapolddays.com

(And the samples are on a link in the right sidebar).

Would love to hear what you, or any other Pure80's forum goers make of it!

I saw that in a shop the other day. I might have to get it.
