I remember the adverts for Look In, but don't think I ever knew anyone who read it.

We were more into The Beano (10p), The Dandy (12p) and Whizzer and Chips (18p) at the time.

Cheap Northerners (before anyone else says it  :P)

I'm an ape man  I'll be your Tarzan, you'll be my Jane  I'll keep you warm and you'll keep me sane  and we'll sit in the trees and eat bananas all day  Just like an ape man

Yeah I used to love it, especially the Robin of Sherwood picture strip in the mid 80s.

At the risk of sounding like I'm doing an ad, I notice that you can now get a 'Look-In - Best of the 80s' annual, and there are several pages in it that I remember quite well, such as the 'A-Team' cartoon strip, fact files on the likes of Roland Rat, David Hasselhoff and Dempsey & Makepeace, and some funny of-the-moment adverts.
A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.

I got one of these annuals in a pound shop in glasgow yesterday. It was great to be reminded of some tv shows I had forgotten about i.e. Chips & Metal Mickey. My children found the ad for Atari Video Computer hilarious.

Yep I got the 70s one and the 80s one from the pound shop.
