What computer version was that Scouser, sounds a bit like the Spectrum.

I had it on the BBC, tape and disk versions.

Brilliant game.

This could be a long list because, let's face it, I spent a lot of time in front of computers in the 80s (no change there then). Although not a great game, because it was one of the first that I got for my Spectrum, I have a soft spot for Hungry Horace. Then Manic Minor was another early one which got better when you found some cheat codes for it, one of which made you invincible.

Games I loved to the point of killing my computer were Daley Thompson's Decathlon and the tennis game Match Point. The former had you hitting the Z and X keys so much your fingertips ended up with Z and X engraved on them for weeks. Then, as for Match Point - GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!! That ball was on the line!!!!!!!!! *fist smashes so hard down onto the computer that the metal plate around the keys separated from the glue holding it down and pings up on either side*. And I was normally such a placid teenager. But I loved that game and hated it at the same time.

Chuckie Egg - great fun. Androids and Androids II were also addictive. And I also loved a game called Wheelie. And a game I always got a massive score playing was called Trashman. I obviously missed my true vocation.
