A passable show that was watchable at the time but laterly became self-indulgent crap. Series 1 now is incredibly dated; forget the flimsy cardboard sets and the stuck-together-by-gaffer-tape and it cost three bob to make ethos, it doesn't stand the test of time at all. Series 2 and 3 fare better and 4 is reasonable. Thereafter it slides downhill with all the aplomb of Eddie The Eagle and none of the grace, elegance or style.
It added nothing to the sitcom dynamic of British television and should have been put out to grass after series 5.  The first two books are good though but, true to form, the next two are utter kak.

So dya like it or not ?  :P

It had its moments. I actually enjoyed series 3 and 4 and bits of 2 were good.

I put Lister, I love all the characters..

Lister for being grim, Kryten for being a gimbazoid, Rimmer for being a smeghead and the cat he was great too..holly was a great but a bit dense and forgetful  :)..Duane Dibley..he cracked me up..I LOVED him.  he had 'teeth the druids could use as a place of worship' and 'an overbite that can open beer bottles'....... ;D
I love 80's music!. Who needs drugs and alcohol when you have music.  I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once.
