Never heard of that film, just got it because it was a French word and French Guinea was the only French speaking terrotory in that area

Give the book a go, if you haven't already, Cleo. It's a great read.

Yes, it's an aerial photo of the three islands collectively known as the Isles du Salut (Isles of Salvation). They are Royale, Saint Joseph and Devil's Island.
