The problem with Rugby Union - as Shy - has said, is the complicated and vague nature of the rules. This makes for loads of stops. No-one finds watching them set-up a scrum four times in a row interesting.

With more men on the pitch, it can be a more defensive game too.

However, when you see a great passing move - like the Italian try today, there is IMO no substitute.  O0

The one thing I do like about Rugby League is that you can ride five tackles before you have to give the ball up, and the fact that conversions and penaltys (or just called Goals in Rugby League) are only worth two points and a drop goal worth one point, teams are gonna go for the try more, perhaps they should raise the value of a try to 5 points.

when you goto a kick and clap game with your caviar, don't you dream of a pie and and pint at a League game  O0

Better than that tackling practice you call rugby... 5 tackles and then kick it to the opposition to let them have a go.

Also does the name John Hopoate ring any bells.  :o

A few years ago Wigan showed those west country bumpkins - Bath - how to play both codes ;D ;D ;D

Yeah right... Maybe in League they did.

I refer you to this article here regarding those tpe of matches http://boards.rivals.net/default.asp?sid=1157&stid=8100886&p=2

Robinson has to go.

He's a very good specialist forwards coach but as a head coach he's rubbish

I think Shaun Edwards who I think is the Sale coach, would do a good job, despite his Rugby League background, which is probably why he won't get the job.
