Harry Nilsson
« on: August 06, 2005, 05:46:52 AM »
I browsed the web to find some information about some Harry Nilsson's albums I own.
I found the info.
but I also found that he is not here anymore.
I have been listening the last 48hs "Over the rainbow".

It wasnt his voice what I liked. The albums covers and his compositions where different.
"Jesus you are tall, I bet nobody wants to dance with you at all"

I am feeling the post-Harry's-Dead-syndrome.

Anybody here liked Harry Nilsson?

He's ok. My mum bought me 'Without You' when I was 12 and I played it a lot, but I don't have any of his albums.....

I wasn't a real big fan of his but I did like his song As Time Goes By

I loved the way Oakenfold sampled Everybody's Talkin' in the song Starry Eyed Surprise  O0

Just never stay in his flat in London. Both Mama Cass and Keith Moon breathed their last there.  :o

I bought Vol 1 of his greatest hits a few years ago. It contained both Without You and Everybody's Talking so I don't know what they were planning to put in Vol 2.

He had a total of 10 hits from 1969-1974.  That's enough to fill one album, but record companies seem to like to include like a dozen or so songs on a greatest hits album that weren't even hits  ::)
